Just finished the whole jar of loving earth coconut chocolate butter…

Nutritious kale chips cooked in organic coconut oil and sprinkled with Himalayan sea salt.

Directions: Break kale into bite sized pieces, pour over oil, sprinkle salt, and then get your hands dirty and mix all the oil through. Place in 150 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes or until crisp and then enjoy your healthy snack chips :)

This is quite possibly the best thing I have ever tasted. I had to use so much strength to stop myself eating straight from the jar.
Ingredients (all organic): raw coconut butter, raw cacao powder, raw agave syrup, sea salt.
"Enjoy the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties of organic coconut butter combined with the antioxidants and magnesium of raw cacao. It has no cholesterol, no trans-fats and supports healthy weight management" - LovingEarth company.
Apparently 3 tbls are recommended daily. That will easily be achieved!

Give cows back what they deserve. For a mother cow to give her milk to her baby like nature intended and for all calves to be by the side of their mums as they grow until they are ready to lead their own life.
We have the choice everyday to make lives better for cows and to live in harmony with those who share the planet with us. GO VEGAN!
Save cows from being looked at as constant milk producing machines for which they must be artificially inseminated to produce a calf. A calf which is born no different to a human baby with the same instictive emotions- to be nutured by its mother’s side. Not to be taken from its mother the day it is born either to be killed immediately for veal or as a waste product (if male) or to be raised to go through the same process as its poor mother (if female). This in a nut-shell is what the dairy industry does. Oh, and then it goes on to kill its product at the age of seven when it becomes non-profitable. This is only about 13 years younger than a cows natural lifespan.
This is only the beginning of what the dairy industry has been keeping from you. Inform yourself, save lives.

Another one of our fabulous dinner dates…

This evening we made our first appearance at Su Life vegetarian restaurant in Mt Gravatt. And it will be the first appearance of many. A complete asian cuisine menu but well priced, quick and friendly service, and creative and tasty meals.

Taro and sweet potato roll was our entree and they were delicious! Crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. Meals are all a reasonable size so if you like your food as much as we do then definitely get an entree, preferably these rolls ;)

For the main I got Fish and Cashew and Paul got Mushroom Bloom. The fish tasted very real which was great for me as I do miss the taste of fish. Although I’m happy with my choice to never eat fish as a vegan diet is the only sustainable choice and we must take responsibility for how we eat and what we take from our only planet.
Paul devoured his main too and hasn’t stopped raving about it since.

We’ll be back asap!
